Codemeter Installation
If you experience problems on installing the CodeMeter ("cannot start runtime server"), please install the CodeMeter from the installation DVD instead.
You'll find the .exe-file here: //addon/wibu/setup.exe

CodeMeter (Dongle) Activation
Please register your CodeMeter dongle within 90 days so that we can guarantee an effective support for all MAGIX Pro Audio licences. The authorisation for entering the Support download area will also be renewed this way.
You can automatically register from the application
1. Choose "Register now" from this dialog
or open "Program activation" from the "HELP" Menu, and then "Register now".
2. Press the link created under the part "Unlock via Internet" while you are online:
3. Login with your username and password or follow the register dialog for new users and login later again with your received username and password.
4. The automatically generated user code will be sent to the email address you have stated.
5. Type or copy & paste your user code into the activation dialog, which you have received by email or through the website. "Activation dialog was entered correctly" will be displayed if the correct code has been entered.
If you do not have online access please print out the activation document directly from the program start menu and send it to the stated address. The activation code will be forwarded to your email address. If you do not hold an email account please contact our Service Team: +49 (0)5741 345 530.

Updating your Dongle to Sequoia / Samplitude 10
Please follow the instructions at program start:
Press
"Update" in the program start dialog.
1.
Savefile your CodeMeter context file. You can save this file at any location you like and then transfer it to a PC connected to the Internet.
2. Go to our Support site http://www.samplitude.com/eng/seq/myproducts.html. You can access the site from any PC with an online connection. The application and Codemeter Runtime do not have to be installed on the PC with the online connection.
3. Use your Service Login to log into the support site. You will now see the versions you have registered in My products. Press the Upgrade button of the product which license you want to update to V10 and that corresponds to your dongle.
Now enter your personal Upgrade code (see above) and load your saved CodeMeter context file. You will receive an updated file for your dongle containing a new license.
4. Now go back to the Start dialog of your program and load this control file by clicking on
"Apply".
Your CodeMeter license has now been updated to V10. You can continue to use program versions V8 and No 9 with this dongle.
