Bob Humid isn't the type of guy that limits himself to a specific genre. Why would he be? His versatility stretches out over "electronic music in the areas of breakbeat, techno, house, tech house, pop, indie, electro, drum'n'bass, R'n'B all the way to more experimental and less-travelled areas of musical invention." And it can't be forgotten that soundtracks have also been given time to fit into his repertoire. Over the years, Bob Humid has worked with numerous illustrious artists and producers from across the board - among them Holger Czukay from Can, Rob Taylor and Alex Paulick from Coloma, the vocalist twila.too, Carla Subito of the group Fetischpark, Mathias Schaffhäuser, Decomposed Subsonic, Djamel Laroussi, and many more.

"I've come to use Sequoia for everything now. It's been ages since I've even looked at a different audio editor. I mostly use: Object editing and mixing, PQ-editing, destructive editing, DSP plug-ins (2 x UAD-1), but pretty much everything else as well, depending on the occasion. I've grown with this software since the 2.X version and was the first user in the world to create a track with over 100,000 samples using Samplitude, at a time when the developers didn't even know how many object cuts were possible (ca. 1997). At that stage it was a demo project for Hohner Midia (later SEK'D distribution).

I composed, edited and mastered both of my albums completely with Samplitude. On my debut album "Twisted Repairs" (2001) I didn't even use MIDI, but only object-based edits. The only thing that really worked for me during that period from 1999 to 2001 was Samplitude.

Other programs were missing rudimentary options. The workflow and the speed of object cutting makes you seriously addicted. As does the audio transparency on all levels and the fact that DSP cards are supported in all areas (latency compensation)."
Bob's most recent album, "Second Wind Phenomenon", was created completely using Samplitude.
