04|20|2009 Samplitude Upgrade / Samplitude Master / Sam for Rent information
All customers who buy a new copy of Samplitude/Sequoia or crossgrade from another DAW from now on, are eligible to receive an upgrade to version 11 for free. This offer also includes Samplitude upgrades to version 10 / 10 Pro from version 8 and older and Sequoia upgrades to version 10 from version 8 and older.
To receive the free upgrade, all customers are asked to get in touch with the Samplitude/Sequoia distributor in their respective country, after version 11 has been released, and provide them with the invoice as a proof of purchase.
All customers who upgrade from other products as the above mentioned to version 10 will, as always, pay for each upgrade step (from 8 to 9, 9 to 10 etc). Version 11 and its upgrade prices will be available in a few months time. Magix will send out the information as soon as it is available.
Samplitude Master will be discontinued. There will be no Samplitude 11 Master. Magix will offer all owners of Samplitude Master an attractive upgrade price to Samplitude 11.
The functionality of Samplitude 11 will be extended. It will be able to handle up to 128 tracks, of which a maximum of 64 tracks can be used as busses. Additionally, there will be no limit of VSTi per project.
Moreover, existing Sam for Rent contracts will not be continued but will be terminated with due notice before their expiry date. All Sam For Rent customers will be offered to purchase Samplitude before their contract expires. In this case the lease period up to that date will be taken into account. All will receive a corresponding notice including an offer from customer support shortly.

This ugrade is available for Samplitude 10 Pro.
The new cleaning and preparing effects you will receive are:
- Declicker/Decrackler: The DeClicker removes crackling and clicking noises, which are
typical on scratched records.
- Declipper: The DeClipper removes overmodulation.
- Denoiser with Noise Print Assistent: The DeNoiser removes annoying background noise
from wave projects/objects.
- Brilliance Enhancer: The brilliance enhancer is a tool for compensating for loss of higher frequencies. Such a
loss often occurs during MP3 compression or tape recording.
