About Samplitude
Samplitude - ProAudio pioneer since 1992
The first edition of Samplitude was completed in 1992. It was primarily a sample editor featuring 24-bit audio processing and was written for the Amiga platform. In 1993, the "Samplitude Pro II" already included hard disk recording.
With "Samplitude Studio", the application was presented to an international audience for the first time at the 1995 NAMM Show in Anaheim, USA, under the name SEK'D. Cooperation with MAGIX AG commenced in the same year. In 1998, native 32-bit floating processing for audio files was introduced. In 1998 saw the introduction of native 32-bit float audio file editing. The first Sequoia edition was developed in December 2000. Over the years to come, the developer team was often able to prove its position as a leader:

- the first product with "out-of-the-box" realtime Red Book CD authoring
- the first realtime FFT filter & convolution reverb
