Introduction
The Arranger window in Sequoia/Samplitude belongs to the "Virtual project (VIP)". This workshop explains the navigation in the Arranger window by zooming, scrolling and scrubbing as well as working with sections, ranges and markers.
In addition, you'll receive an introduction in editing wave projects.
First of all we want to give you some clues so that you find your way into virtual projects:
- To start playback, press the space bar.
- To end playback, use the 0 key on the number pad of your keyboard.
- To move the playback cursor, use the left and right arrow keys.
- To move the VIP under the play cursor, use the keyboard shortcut Alt + Arrow left /Arrow right.
- To move an object, click on the lower half and drag it into its new position.
- To jump to the object edges with the playback cursor, select the shortcut keys Ctrl + Q / Ctrl + W.
- For equal display of all tracks click in a free space of a track box and open the context menu by right-clicking. Now choose "Minimize none " to supply all tracks with equal display space in the virtual project. Use the "+"- character next to the track number
display in order to re-broaden the display of the tracks.
